A Big New Update

I’ve made a big change here at the CAV Command Console – we now have a new domain name. http://www.cavcomcon.com is our official new URL. The old domain, which even I had trouble typing, is still active – it just redirects here. So, any bookmarks or rss feeds you may have should still work. I don’t have any plans to change that, but I don’t make any promises to keep it around either. So switch as soon as you can.

I’ve made a few other minor changes as well.

Upgrade menus on the task force builder have changed. They now support submenus. This is for leveled upgrades like ECM and EST pods. The menus got out of control and were too hard to use when the Piercing and Shredder upgrades were added. This should keep it under control and make it possible to get the rest of the upgrades added to the system.

I also made some style changes. I removed the flash flickr badge on the lower right margin. It wasn’t that useful, consumed resources and just not as great as it seemed at first. I think the static, but randomized images are better. I also fixed a couple of rendering issues in IE so things look better there.

Real Army List support and upgrades are next on my list, along with more articles that aren’t site updates.
