Task Force: The Adonese Swarm
One particularly effective use of the Adon arsenal is the vehicle swarm. Due to their characteristically low DVs, Adon models do not become significantly tougher as they increase in cost. This makes key models in the force painfully vulnerable; this style of list eliminates that issue entirely. The Adonese have superb light-medium vehicles, namely the Scarab, Wasp, and Hornet. To round out this style of army, open market recon vehicles and aircraft are ideal. Here are a couple versions of this force:
| 3000 Points | 2000 Points | |

This list excels in objective scenarios due to its extreme speed; the slowest section is the Chieftains at Mov12. The Hornets high movement value allows them to position themselves early, important as they are the weakest model in the game; remember that only one needs to be in short range in order to coordinate with its CFP (which will hit 9/10 times, assuming no ECM cover). In a pinch, they can also speed up to grab objectives, but they should not be left in that situation as they will die rather quickly (though their machine guns can give aircraft second thoughts about engaging them).
The central section of this list, so much as it has one, is the section of Scarabs. They are the hardest hitting and fastest section, and also have increased electronics support. The section can either work as a whole, with the Wasps covering all four tanks with ECM and EST while moving, or it can split in half, though this limits electronics use somewhat. This section should never be used for kills; they exist solely for knocking the first two or three tracks off of tough models. Once this is done, the Chieftains and Stilettos should swoop in for the kill.
If the battlefield has significant cover, have the tanks move-and-fire from cover to cover; their move is so high that Run’N’Gun isn’t particularly necessary. Also, don’t forget the option to chainfire the Hornets; if the entire section hits one point, it’s RAV6 Shredder/3. Though this only has AoE/2, two of the Hornets could be traded for a Bishop to get extra AoE and shredder.
The Recon Section's strike are best used early, probably to cover the Hornets. The rest of the force doesn’t need cover; they are both fast, and extremely long ranged. Use the Hornets to force the enemy to come to you, then tear them apart with the agile tanks.
The Longbows in the 2,000 point section could be replaced with Dragonflies once their cost is reduced by removing the CFP. This should free up more points for additional strikes.
