This guys does amateur intelligence analysis using imagery from Google Earth. Every week he puts up a new image of some strategic military site around the world with his remarkable analysis of what it is and why its important.

As a wargamer, you will probably find this interesting on its own. But the imagery is also useful when thinking about scenarios, terrain pieces and table layouts. He has put up a lot of fascinating stuff over the months that I've been following him.
